Use this weekend schedule to compare US racing from Friday through Sunday. The date range above identifies the weekend being shown. On Monday through Thursday, the default range is the coming Friday to Sunday; during Friday, Saturday or Sunday, it is the current weekend. You can move to another weekend or choose a date, then narrow the cards by track, state or racing type.
Build a three-day racing plan
Start with a meet you are interested in, then look at the date attached to each race day. A meet can span several weeks, while its weekend program contains individual racecards. The five-race card pages can extend across more than one day, so use the page selector to see the rest. Open the meet title when you want the wider season calendar around your visit.
Find feature races within a full card
A major race is usually one contest within a larger day of racing. Stakes and graded races have their own conditions and post times; the first race of the afternoon may be a different event. Use the major-race calendar for featured events, then open individual race details for the announced distance, surface and entries. A weekend can offer worthwhile racing even when no major championship is scheduled.
Check arrival times before visiting
Gate opening and first post are different appointments. Allow time for getting to the track, entering and finding your place before the race you want to see. Check the venue’s official site for tickets and race-day arrangements. Del Mar’s calendar separates race-day timing from other events, a useful distinction when a venue hosts entertainment as well as racing.
Match the weekend to your viewing plans
Compare the race schedule with announced TV windows if you will watch from home. A program’s opening time is not necessarily the start of your chosen race, and coverage can switch channels. Select your viewing time zone before printing or saving the schedule. The track-local race date remains the race’s reference date, even if a late US start falls on the next morning where you are.
