This evening schedule runs from 6:00 PM on the selected date until 6:00 AM the following morning in your chosen time zone. It is useful for finding late starts and overnight viewing without switching between two daily schedules. The full window appears above the filters. A race at exactly 6:00 PM is included; a race at 6:00 AM belongs to the next daytime schedule.
Keep track of races after midnight
Midnight changes the calendar date, but it does not end this page’s evening window. Check the date printed with each race time, especially when comparing two venues. The racecard’s track-local date stays attached to the race so that its number and detail page remain easy to find. A race listed here after midnight can also appear on tomorrow’s full-day schedule.
Understand what changing the time zone does
Your time zone changes both the displayed clock times and which races fall inside the evening window. A California afternoon race might be an evening race for an East Coast viewer. This does not mean the venue is holding a night meeting. Choose the zone where you will watch, then read the dates and times together rather than relying on the word “tonight” alone.
Distinguish live racing from other track activities
A venue can be open for simulcasting, where visitors watch races held elsewhere, even when it has no live races of its own. Los Alamitos’ calendar distinguishes live racing and simulcast activity. For a night out, check the track’s own calendar and visitor information. The cards here identify the venue holding the listed races, not every location showing them.
Plan an evening of watching
Open the races you want to follow and compare their post times with the TV listings. Scheduled race time and program start are separate things. Some programs cover several venues, and viewing access can differ between a television channel and an online stream. If the evening card is empty, try another time zone only if it matches your plans, or use tomorrow’s schedule for the next full day.
