Breeders’ Cup 2026 at Keeneland: Race Day Guide
Two championship days at Keeneland
The 2026 Breeders’ Cup World Championships take place at Keeneland in Lexington on October 30–31. The event spans two days and 14 championship races. It is a festival of individual contests, rather than one race with a single starting time or one field of horses.
Choose Friday or Saturday first, then look for the named championship and its race number. A day’s full card can include supporting races alongside the championships. Distance, surface and age or sex conditions help distinguish the contests when you are following more than one division.
Use this edition’s race order and post times
The two festival dates can be confirmed before the full order of races and post times is announced. Use the published details above when available, then open the specific race for its entries and conditions. Do not borrow a start time or race number from a previous Breeders’ Cup held at another venue.
Keeneland’s regular October Fall Meet is separate from the World Championships. A qualifying race in the Fall Meet and a championship race later in the month have different cards and results. This edition page keeps the 2026 championship weekend together; the broader Breeders’ Cup topic page is useful for exploring the event itself.
Plan your broadcast or championship visit
A broadcast can start before the first championship or split across channels during the day. Compare the published TV window with the race’s own post time and check the provider’s access requirements for your location. Change the display time zone if you are watching outside Kentucky, while keeping the Keeneland race date when finding the card.
For attendance, use the championship’s own ticket and visitor information. Do not assume a regular Fall Meet ticket covers this separate event. The Keeneland championship guide and official 2026 Breeders’ Cup page are the appropriate starting points. After racing, open the exact contest for its available finish and replay.
