Del Mar Bing Crosby Meet 2026: Race Day Guide

The Bing Crosby season is Del Mar’s fall meet

Del Mar’s autumn racing season is also known as the Bing Crosby meet. In 2026, the official venue calendar lists November 6–29. These names refer to the same fall edition, separate from the summer season at the coastal California racecourse.

Start with a published race day, then choose the numbered race. The meet’s opening and closing dates do not imply a racecard every day in between. If you are travelling, check the official day’s listing before arranging transport or seats, then use the dated racecard to plan which contests to follow.

Thanksgiving times and the closing turf features

The official 2026 venue calendar gives Thanksgiving an earlier start than the usual fall first post. Check the date-specific listing rather than assuming every afternoon begins at the same time. Gates opening, first post and the start of a feature race are separate parts of the day.

Del Mar’s stakes schedule places the Hollywood Turf Cup, Hollywood Derby and Matriarch across the final weekend. Their names do not mean you should look for the races at a different track: use the Del Mar date and racecard for this edition. Open each race to compare its conditions, distance and runners when those details are available.

Follow the card in Pacific Time or your own zone

For a track visit, use the local California date and the venue’s visitor information. For viewing elsewhere, change the time-zone selector and check the corresponding broadcast window. A race may fall on the following day where you live while remaining part of the original Del Mar card.

Completed races lead to individual detail pages with available finishes and replays. Match the year, date and number so a summer result does not get mistaken for an autumn running. The official Bing Crosby season calendar and Del Mar stakes schedule provide further planning information.

Del Mar Bing Crosby Meet 2026: Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Del Mar Fall Meet and Bing Crosby Meet different events?

They are names for the same autumn season. This page follows the 2026 edition, while Del Mar’s summer meet has a separate schedule and archive.

Does Thanksgiving use the regular first-post time?

The official 2026 calendar lists an earlier Thanksgiving start. Check that day’s racecard and visitor information instead of relying on the usual fall timetable.

Why are there races named Hollywood at Del Mar?

Race names and host venues are different identifiers. For this edition’s Hollywood turf features, use the Del Mar card and its date to find the correct contest.

Can I use summer visit information for the fall meet?

Check the autumn date’s official details. Race times, tickets and visitor arrangements should be confirmed for the day you intend to attend, rather than assumed from summer.
