DraftKings Horse Racing App Guide: Racecards, Replays and Account Access

A current guide to DraftKings Racing and the DK Horse transition, with official account, racecard, replay and funds guidance checked in October 2026.

DraftKings Horse Racing App Guide: Racecards, Replays and Account Access

Start with DraftKings Racing and the DK Horse transition

If you are searching for the DraftKings horse racing app, first identify the product available to your account. DraftKings Racing is the newer racing experience within the DraftKings Sports & Casino app and at racing.draftkings.com. DK Horse is the older standalone product. DraftKings announced a state-by-state transition during 2026, so an old download guide, an account-help article and the interface presented to you can describe different stages of the same business's racing service.

The company's official integrated Racing announcement explains that DK Horse would be phased out as DraftKings Racing reached each jurisdiction. That is a rollout description, not a reason to declare every old account or app obsolete everywhere. Begin with the current official route for your residence, then follow the instructions attached to that product. Do not create another account simply because an older review depicts a separate sign-up screen.

Why older DK Horse instructions can mislead you

An account tutorial can become inaccurate even when the racing terms remain correct. The meaning of an exacta has not changed because a product was integrated, but the place where you find a balance, a replay or an account-setting menu can change. Instructions about legacy DK Horse funds are particularly easy to misapply to a new DraftKings Racing account. Keep the product name and the date of the guidance together whenever you follow a troubleshooting article.

This guide uses official information checked on October 21, 2026. It explains the documented route and racing decisions to verify; it does not claim that we opened a wagering account or personally tested an accepted bet. Screens and available features can vary by device, account eligibility and rollout stage. An illustration of the older DK Horse app later in this guide is labeled as an archive example, rather than presented as a screenshot of today's Racing interface.

For a useful first session, set a simple task: find one intended meeting, open the correct race, understand the available information and locate the record of any transaction you choose to make. That task is more valuable than collecting apps or chasing a promotional headline. You should be able to explain what race you are viewing and which product you are using before money enters the process. If either point remains unclear, resolve it with the current help center while the race is still comfortably in the future.

Confirm eligibility and use the correct account

Downloading a branded app is not confirmation that its racing service accepts you. Check DraftKings Racing's current eligibility information for your residence and circumstances before funding an account. The same company can offer different products under different requirements. A working fantasy account or permission to use a sportsbook does not establish the answer for horse racing, and a visible list of tracks does not prove that a wagering transaction will be permitted.

Residence, location and app access are separate checks

DraftKings describes residence as a basis for Racing eligibility, while also identifying restrictions associated with current location. Read both parts of the current policy. Someone who maintains a legitimate residential address in one state but travels to another should not assume that either the account address or the destination alone settles access. The relevant question is whether the operator permits that customer to use the specific product in those circumstances.

Age can also affect the route. DraftKings' official age and app-access guidance says the Sports & Casino app may impose an older minimum than the racing web experience for otherwise eligible adults. Its web option is conditional on eligibility, not a way to evade a restriction. Confirm the rule that applies to you rather than relying on the age printed beside an app-store download.

Follow the current sign-in route

Use the official Racing entry point and your existing DraftKings account where instructed. The March 2026 single sign-on guidance says old DK Horse credentials are no longer the supported login and directs customers to DraftKings credentials. If an old bookmark or saved password fails, investigate that account route before deciding you need a second registration.

Separate three different problems when asking for help: a password problem, a verification problem and an eligibility problem. Resetting a password may resolve the first, but it will not correct an inaccurate residential address or make an unavailable jurisdiction eligible. Record the message shown and the product in which it appeared. “I cannot use Racing after signing in” gives support a more useful starting point than repeatedly saying the entire app is broken.

Complete any requested account checks through DraftKings' official channels and keep personal documents out of public messages or race discussions. If you have moved, update your actual information rather than changing it to whatever seems likely to unlock a race. The practical aim is a reliable, correctly identified personal account whose access conditions you understand. Resolve uncertainty before the opening race so that a countdown never becomes pressure to rush an account decision.

Find the right track, race and field

Identify the meeting before selecting a horse. Work through track name, local race date and race number, then inspect the race conditions and declared runners. Several tracks can have a Race 5 approaching at roughly the same time. Recognizing a horse's name or a familiar set of colors does not replace reading the race header. This matters especially when you move between a broadcast covering several venues and an app showing a single selected card.

The current public Racing website provides an All Tracks route. Use the interface available to your account to find the meeting you intend to follow, then verify its date and status. Our today's horse racing schedule can help establish the wider sporting timetable, but it does not certify which tracks or wagering pools DraftKings offers to a particular customer. A published race and an available operator market answer different questions.

Recheck the field after you have found the race. A scratch removes a horse from the intended starters, while other changes can affect riders, equipment or conditions. The operator's legacy DK Horse general-wagering guidance explains that scratches and changes arrive through the day. Apply the underlying lesson to the current product: a program downloaded earlier is a starting point, not proof that every runner still competes.

Use the betting selection identifier shown by the operator rather than assuming a stall or post-position number always serves the same purpose. Read the horse's name beside the number again when a selection enters the betslip. If a discussion or printed tip merely says “number three,” resolve which race and which identifier it means. You can avoid an entirely preventable mistake without making any prediction about the horse's ability.

Keep three clocks separate: the scheduled post time, the app's race countdown and the video you are watching. A stream can lag behind events, and an estimate can change. Do not wait for the field to be visibly at the gate on your screen before learning how a ticket works. If you are simply researching a race, leave the wager unsubmitted and concentrate on the card. Finding the correct field and understanding its conditions is a worthwhile racing task in itself.

Read the betslip before committing a wager

Treat the betslip as a written instruction. Before submitting anything, it should describe the intended track, race, wager type, selections and total cost. Read each part rather than recognizing one familiar horse and assuming the rest followed correctly. The act of touching a runner is not the same as an accepted transaction. After submission, look for the operator's confirmation and the corresponding record rather than relying on a briefly changing button or a video continuing to play.

A useful hypothetical example is a $1 exacta box with three separately numbered betting interests. The box covers six possible first-two orders, so the total is $6. Selecting four separate interests produces twelve ordered pairs and costs $12 at the same base. The $1 label describes the amount per combination, not necessarily your complete ticket. Coupled interests, different wager structures and operator minimums require their own checks; these examples illustrate arithmetic, not an offered bet or a recommended selection.

Pool odds are not a locked sportsbook price

An ordinary pari-mutuel horse wager participates in a pool. Its displayed odds can move as money arrives, with the final pool determining the payoff under the applicable rules. DraftKings' horse-racing education guide explains the difference from a familiar fixed-odds sports bet. Putting both activities inside one branded app does not make their pricing mechanisms identical.

For example, seeing 5/1 when preparing a win ticket does not mean an ordinary pool wager has secured that price. A final 3/1 would imply a different return. Keep potential return, profit and ticket cost distinct, and do not confuse win odds with the eventual price of an exacta or trifecta combination. Those are different pools and different outcomes. A clear screen is useful only when you also understand what the number represents.

If submission appears uncertain, inspect My Bets and the transaction record before repeating the same action. Two accepted tickets are two commitments even if your intention was to place one. Likewise, do not assume a cancellation control is an unrestricted undo button; the product's current rules and the race's status govern what can be changed. Our US racing-platform comparison guide explains why readable tickets, records and money rules matter when choosing an app. Here, the practical test is simpler: can you accurately describe the ticket the service actually accepted?

Watch live coverage and find race replays

A racecard, a live track feed and a television broadcast serve different purposes. The card identifies the contest; the feed lets you watch the track's coverage; a broadcast can add presenters and move between meetings. Check the video available for the actual race in your product and account rather than assuming that the presence of a track name guarantees an unrestricted stream. Legacy DK Horse video terms and current DraftKings Racing navigation should be read in their own product context.

Open a completed race from today

The current DraftKings Racing replay instructions direct you to sign in, open the relevant race page and select Replay once the finished race's recording is available. The button may not appear immediately at the finish. Check that the event has concluded and allow time for availability before treating its absence as a failure.

When reviewing a race you just watched, choose one question before starting the recording. Was your selected runner slow away, caught wide or waiting for room? Watch its early position first, then its route into the finish. The answer might explain why a finishing position alone leaves an incomplete picture, but a replay does not establish a veterinary diagnosis or prove a runner will improve next time. Keep an observation separate from a prediction.

Return to an older race through My Bets

For an earlier race, the same official guide provides a route through My Bets: locate the associated wager, select the race scoreboard in its betslip and open the historical race page, where Replay can be available. That is a documented path tied to an existing wager. It should not be presented as proof that every older, unbet race can be browsed in a universal archive through precisely the same controls.

Save the date, venue and race number in your notes so that the right historical record is easy to identify. A day's broadcast can contain similar races from several tracks, and the most memorable horse may not be the one whose wager you open first. If the recording still cannot be found, contact Customer Experience with those race details. You should not need to describe an entire afternoon's viewing history to establish which contest you mean.

For a scheduled television program rather than the operator's track video, consult our horse racing TV schedule and the broadcaster's current listing. Do not assume that a wagering account replaces a television subscription or that an app replay replaces the official result. Video is most useful when it helps you understand the horses' journeys, while the race record and accepted-ticket history settle different questions.

Check migrated funds, records and help before race day

A shared sign-in does not explain every movement of money or every historical record. DraftKings' funds-migration guidance says eligible customers may see their DK Horse balance transferred to their DraftKings account for Racing. Its broader migration overview also explains that balances not eligible for migration can be returned by check. Check the notice and account circumstances that apply to you rather than assuming every old dollar instantly appears in the same place for every customer.

Reconcile an old balance as a record-keeping task. Write down the product, date and balance you are trying to trace, then compare that with any migration notice and the receiving account's history. If the expected amount is unclear, ask support about that movement before making another deposit to compensate for it. A missing-looking balance, a pending transfer and money already returned are different situations, even though each can initially feel like “my funds disappeared.”

Historical records need the same product distinction. The legacy DK Horse history guide directs customers to DK Horse's own app or site for those transactions. Do not automatically apply its old menu locations to the newer Racing interface or assume that a generic DraftKings account page contains every legacy statement. Tell support whether the question concerns an old DK Horse wager, migration or a new Racing ticket.

Keep promotional credit separate from available cash. The current migration FAQ says sportsbook Bonus Bets are not valid for DraftKings Racing. A racing-specific offer, if presented, has its own eligibility, opt-in, expiry and qualifying requirements. None of those details should be inferred from a promotion for another product. You do not need to enlarge a ticket or start following a second track just to make an offer feel useful.

Before the card begins, locate help and the Racing responsible-gaming resources. Check which limits and break options apply to your account and how they operate across products. Set your intended time and spending boundaries while there is no race countdown competing for attention. A convenient interface makes it easy to move from one meeting to another; your plan should determine whether that is actually what you want to do.

A successful first use of the app can be modest: correct access, one properly identified card, a clear understanding of the ticket and a retrievable record. If an unresolved account problem interrupts that plan, stop the transaction process and use the official support route. The horses will race again. There is no sporting reason to turn a confusing migration, an unexplained balance or a missing confirmation into a rushed financial decision.
